Seeing as how I have 3 scheduled concerts in the near future: Adele, The Afters/Sanctus Real and Ladytron, I’m going to go ahead and put up a list of the artists I’ve seen in concert in the past. It’s always awesome to see an artist live and I’m typically taken with the power that a live performance carries. I’ve found some of my favorite artists after seeing them open up for bigger acts actually. Artists that I’ve never heard of before have captivated me and I have typically ended up buying their music and obviously gotten it autographed right on the spot whenever possible. I remember seeing a band called Disciple open up for Stryper years ago and I became a fan that instant and haven’t stopped since. There are also a few artists that I want to catch, that I’ve yet to see live, among them: Interpol, Placebo, Mozella, The Toxic Airborne Event, Flyleaf, UNDEROATH and also those that I’ve seen once and want to see again badly like: Skillet and Shiny toy Guns. The day is soon coming for all these, for now here’s the list……just for posterity!
Aterciopelados, The Beach Boys, Berlin, Billy Joel, The Black Crowes, Candlebox, Carlos Vives, The Cranberries, David Crowder Band, Demon Hunter, Disciple, Dixie Chicks, Dramarama, Duran Duran, Elton John, Garbage, The Go-Gos, Head, Heart, Jaci Velasquez, Jars of Clay, Jeremy Camp, Journey, Juanes, Kutless, Live, Living Sacrifice, The Myriad, Newsboys, No Doubt, Oasis, P.O.D., Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Red, The Rolling Stones, Seal, Shakira, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Shiny Toy Guns, Simple Minds, Skillet, Stryper, Tenth Avenue North, Tesla, Third Day, U2, VOTA, Weezer, Yann Tiersen.
Actually here’s a little Disciple to get you through your day!

I had forgotten until now to give my mini-review of Adele’s latest studio album, 21. From the first note of Rolling In The Deep about a month before the album came out, I was already hooked and knew that this was going to be a huge hit. I got my copy from overseas, since it came out a full month before the release here in the US, so I’ve enjoyed it for a while now and from top to bottom, it’s pretty much the best release so far this year. Rolling In The Deep began the entire revolution but it continues with Don’t You Remember, Turning Tables, Someone Like You, One And Only and Set Fire To The Rain. This album was birthed from heartbreak and you can see that entire story told through each song. As close to perfection as it comes and I can’t wait to see her in concert in a few weeks!
MoZella is an artist who has been around for a few years now and she seems to be getting better and better at her craft as time goes by. She has a couple of full albums under her wing and the sound is very familiar yet unique in that it tells very interesting stories. At first glance one might say she sounds like Duffy, Adele or any of a handful of current ingenues but the difference is clearly seen in her storytelling and what seem to be personal experiences through her songs. If you haven’t heard of MoZella and you’re interested in picking up some seriously well crafted music, go ahead and give both full-length albums, I Will and Belle Isle, a try. They each boast great songs like: You Wanted It, Going Home, More Of You, Can’t Stop, What To Say and Freezing.
