So recently I’ve been asked a lot about music. I’ve been asked my thoughts on country music, I’ve been asked what I listen to the most, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to explain it all while asserting my love for everything creative and obviously everything music. One clue to what I listen to the most on a regular basis, or as much as regular can be ascertained by iTunes, is what songs are my Top 10 listened to songs of whatever length of time I’ve had my current iPod. Just as a quick explanation, this isn’t a constantly rotating Top 10, since I typically keep my iPod on shuffle. The iPod doesn’t count a “play” unless the song completely plays all the way through, and as a matter of fact, the current #1 actually took a couple of years to finally surpass what is currently #2. Kind of cool I think. A lot of these songs have very specific reasons as to why they get played so much and most of those reasons are personal so I won’t go into detail. Here are the current Top 10. Perhaps when there’s a major shift on this list I’ll post an update. The whole country music breakdown one will be coming soon!
#1: Comptine D’Un Autre Été – Yann Tiersen
#2: C’mere – Interpol
#3: You Are The One – Shiny Toy Guns
#4: One – U2
#5: Not Even Jail – Interpol
#6 – Something Beautiful – Newsboys
#7 – Pienso En Ti- Shakira
#8 – Undying- Demon Hunter
#9 – Freezing- Mozella
#10 – What Hurts The Most – Rascal Flatts

Here’s the evidence! Much gratitude to Ryan Clark, lead singer of Demon Hunter and Yogi, drummer for signing my shirt and drumstick respectively. You guys rock! I wish you the best in all you guys do everyday and I definitely can’t wait until I get the product of your upcoming studio time in my hands.
It’s definitely been a while since I’ve posted anything personal but here we go. Just wanted to post a couple of pics from the Demon Hunter concert in Pomona, California. The night….actually make that, the day was awesome! Saw a bunch of bands since the concert lasted all day long. Kudos to Living Sacrifice, they rocked as always and their new song sounds like a definite winner. Demon Hunter of course, were the dynamic group that they are once again. Much thanks to them for putting together a great show, thanks to Ryan for autographing one of my shirts and for snapping a pic with me and thanks to Yogi for signing a piece of one of his drumsticks. I will post the evidence shortly.
